Overview
Shelley Couvillion hails from the sunny shores of California but is pleased to have found a new home in the lush forests of Columbia, Tennessee. She decided she wanted to be an artist when she was 12 and it's been her lifelong passion since then. Shelley loves Halloween and working in muted color palettes. She has worked on several picture books for large publishers including A Flash Of Color And Light by Sharon Mentyka, a cover for the YA book The Wrong Way Home by Kate O'Shaughnessy and in September, Shelley will have her first coloring book out titled The Spooky Academy (available for preorder wherever books are sold). You can often find Shelley roaming our little town enjoying a cold brew coffee from Muletown or B's even in the dead of winter, hosting Zine Night at Butler's, or just sitting in the Duck River looking for fossils.
