Columbia Arts District
The newly-emerging Columbia Arts District was established as a haven for artists to culminate in an eclectic mix of contemporary creative culture, near the heart of downtown Columbia, only blocks from the Columbia Town Square. The revitalized Columbia Arts Building with its industrial vibe, houses working artists' studio space, Bad Idea Brewing, CAB Café, Glover's Second Hand, CAB Movement, BloomStall and Muletown Collective. Row & Co. is another unique building that houses KOKOs, Envy Hair Salon and Knitted City Designs next to the Columbia Culinary Arts Center. Other businesses in the Arts District include Windmill Bakery, Battleground Cigar Lounge, Mule Town Lumberyard, and Ye Peddler Gift Shoppe. Artists in the District include CJ Hughes, Abigail Collette, Sarah Gilliam and others.
