Columbia Arts District
The emerging Columbia Arts District was established as a haven for artists to gather together in an eclectic mix of contemporary creative culture, near the heart of downtown Columbia only blocks from the Columbia Town Square. The revitalized Columbia Arts Building with its industrial vibe, houses working artists' studio space, Bad Idea Brewing, Little Juice Bar, Glover's Second Hand, CAB Movement, and Muletown Collective. Row & Co. is another unique building that houses KOKOs, Envy Hair Salon and Knitted City Designs next to the Columbia Culinary Arts Center. Other businesses in the Arts District include Barino Italian Southern Eatery, Battleground Cigar Lounge, Mule Town Lumberyard, and Ye Peddler Gift Shoppe. Artists in the District include Abigail Collette, Sarah Gilliam and others.
