Shelby Baxter is the artist behind Brown Banner Designs, a Tennessee-based, at-home, company known for whimsical, hand-painted event banners on rustic brown builders paper. Self-taught and inspired by vintage signage, childhood nostalgia, and the charm of handmade art, Shelby creates bold, one-of-a-kind pieces that bring personality to every celebration. She’s excited to join Columbia’s First Saturday Art Event this September and share her colorful, joy-filled designs with the community.
