Mike Brennan is an artist driven by experience—both his own and the ones he invites others to have through his work. Originally from New York and now based in Nashville, TN, Mike creates art that is deeply personal yet universally resonant, using color, energy, and storytelling to forge connections. His creative journey spans a diverse range of subjects, all unified by his desire to create and connect. Mike’s portfolio includes vibrant portraits, evocative travel and location-based sketches, yoga-inspired works, and pop culture art. His work has been showcased on AMC’s Talking Dead, Syfy.com, and in The Art of Healthy Living exhibit at the I.D.E.A. Museum. He is also the author and illustrator of several books, including Make Fun A Habit, The Art of Yoga, and Dear Snow: One Man’s Angry Rant Against Winter. With a background in graphic design and illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology and the School of Visual Arts, Mike has collaborated with brands like Mobil, Heineken, and Chase Bank, as well as boutique businesses and nonprofits. Whether creating live event sketches that capture moments in real time or painting works that spark emotion, Mike's goal remains the same: to offer an experience through his art—one that connects, inspires, and invites others to see the world through a new lens.
