Overview
The Memorial Building was built in 1909 as the Columbia first, permanent U.S. Post Office, with many of the features of that use still evident. The ballroom and kitchens have hosted thousands of community events and is one of Maury County's most popular venues. The post office operated in this building for 30 years before it was relocated to a new federal building in 1941.
