Overview
Firefighters Park is a local park located in the Columbia Arts District and next door to Columbia's Fire Station No. 1. This small park commemorates 150 years of history of the Columbia Fire & Rescue Department with a mural wall, historic marker and future plans for a firefighter statue. On special occasions the Ehrens Fox 1930's original firetruck in on display at the park. Personalized bricks and park benches decorate the plaza area and a gazebo for entertaining are the latest additions to the park.
