Fairview Park, established in 1938, is a city public park featuring a pool, playground, several shelters, a number of baseball fields, and a recreation center. Fairview Recreation Center is a well-known and culturally significant community center serving the residents of Columbia. A very popular location for both rentals and reservations - this center has hosted numerous events such as family reunions, birthday parties, and other gatherings. The Fairview Recreation Center features a large meeting hall and kitchen that can meet the needs of most functions.
