November 21-23

The holiday magic kicks off with the 11th annual holiday market at The Factory at Columbia - A Very Maury Christmas. For one weekend only, The Factory transforms into a festive wonderland filled with over 80 curated vendors, each offering handmade goods, artisan creations, and unique gifts for everyone on your shopping list. 

Bring the whole family for a visit with Santa and stop by the Mini Makers corner for kid-friendly crafts that inspire the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

 Find Your Perfect Tree at Row & Co. 

November 22 - December 7

A Night at the Theatre 

November 29 - December 7 

Get swept up in the spirit of the season with Packard Playhouse's double feature: The Gift of the Magi and A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas

These two beloved stories come to life on stage, offering heartwarming tales of love, faith, and the true meaning of giving. With live music, period costumes, and a cast of local favorites, it's an evening that captures everything we love about the holidays.

December First Fridays: Merry Makers Market

December 5 

Kick off December with a community favorite! Downtown comes alive for the First Fridays Merry Makers Market, with local shops open late, makers lining the streets, food trucks serving up seasonal favorites, and music filling the air. 

Starting at 5:00 pm, grab a hot cocoa and stroll through the downtown lights while soaking up the festive atmosphere. This event is free to attend and it's one of the best ways to experience Columbia's creative spirit! 

Maury Christmas Historic Home Tour

December 5-6 

A beloved Columbia tradition since the 1950s, the Maury Christmas Historic Home Tour invites you to step inside some of our town's most beautiful public and private homes. 

Each home is dressed in its holiday best, offering a peek into Columbia's rich history and timeless architecture. It's an elegant, inspiring way to celebrate the season and experience the holiday magic throughout the town.

Garden Lights at the Polk Home

December 5 - 23

Experience the magic of the holidays at the first-ever Tour of Lights at the Polk Home! Step into a winter wonderland as the Polk Home gardens come alive with dazzling lights, charming holiday scenes, and festive photo opportunities perfect for the whole family every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night in December. 

Your $5 admission includes full evening access to the illuminated gardens and one hot beverage per guest. 

Columbia Main Street's 39th Annual Christmas Parade

December 6 

Bundle up and find the best spot, it's time for the 39th Annual Columbia Christmas Parade

This year's Grand Marshals, Austin & Colin, will lead the way as the streets come alive with the sparkle of lights, cheer of marching bands, festive floats, and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus' grand finale! This tradition has been bringing the community together for nearly four decades and continues to capture the true essence of small-town holiday joy.

Ring in the New Year at the Mule Drop

Say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new at Columbia's signature celebration, the Mule Drop! Taking place on the downtown square, this special event features food trucks, music, hourly countdowns and fireworks launched from the historic Maury County courthouse when the clock strikes midnight. This free community event is the perfect way to wrap up the year!
