Our Story
We opened our doors back in December of 2012 with the goal of providing Columbia and Maury County, Tennessee with a cool, neighborhood indie bookstore where people come to visit, read, relax and laugh. Since then we have met book lovers from all over the world, hosted fun special events and had a visit from a famous author or two. We invite you to come and experience Duck River Books right in the Dimple of the Universe.
The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who can't read them.

Of course we have new titles arriving nearly every day, but we also have book signings and special events too.

Duck River Books is open:
Monday- Saturday 10am-6pm
Closed Sunday
Free 3 hour parking is available in downtown Columbia weekdays from 8AM - 5PM.
There is no restriction on parking after 5PM and on weekends.
The large parking lot on E 7th St available on weekends too.
