Overview
Tucked away just off the Downtown Square in Columbia - a walkable distance - is Riverwalk Park, nestled along the banks of the Duck River, one of the most ecologically diverse rivers in the United States. Walkers will enjoy the paved walking path that connects historic downtown Columbia to Riverwalk Park and up to the local dam, approximately one mile. Kids will enjoy the splash pad and the basketball court. Two pavilions in the park can be booked for events. It's common to see this park buzzing with activity. Events large and small are going on like the First Tennessee Muletown Barbecue Cook-off, Meriwether Lewis Arts and Crafts Fair, Farmers Market, concerts, and 'Movies in the Park'. The Farmers Market is happening every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at Riverwalk Park!
