Ideal capacity: 300 people About Rippavilla: Located in the heart of Spring Hill, TN just minutes from Columbia, Rippavilla Plantation is a stately, 160+ year mansion, once home to Nathaniel F. Cheairs IV and Susan McKissack Cheairs. It is a stunning, fully restored, 1850s Greek Revival-styled mansion, complete with original Cheairs family antiques, heirlooms and Civil War artifacts. The grounds encompass the family and slave cemeteries, Freeman's Bureau school house, slave quarters, the Battlefield of Spring Hill and the Museum Gift Shop. Rippavilla Plantation is open daily for guided tours, field trips and family outings, and is the venue for many popular events, check out our event calendar for more information.
