It was built in 1853 and owned by Martin Cheairs, brother of Nathaniel Cheairs, original owner of neighboring Rippa Villa Plantation. Tour the home to learn about the intriguing stories surrounding General Van Dorn and doctor's wife Jesse McKissack Peters. Ferguson Hall is available for special events, weddings, receptions, holiday gatherings and business meetings.
