*Must enroll prior to Saturday, October 20th to reserve your spot!* Artist Craig Carlisle will be conducting a painting workshop for adults (ages 18 and up) which will focus on learning to paint from your imagination and remove the artist block. Reactionary painting is the base of Carlisle's work for the past 30 years as a professional artist. He will help guide you through the process of communicating your thoughts, ambitions and passion onto the canvas without fear, especially of that first stroke. You will learn to come up with your own unique ideas and basic ways to express them with paint. Carlisle believes that everything an artist creates is a form of a self portrait, and he has mastered the concept of painting from the light within. This course will help both the seasoned painter and the first timer learn how to throw out the 'artist block' forever. "The fastest way out of an artists block is to paint over it." Carlisle says. About Your Artisan Instructor: Craig Carlisle was born in Oklahoma and moved to Ohio where he received his BFA at the Columbus College of Art and Design. He has lived and worked in NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Columbus. Currently his studio is located in Columbia TN and is an active part of the Columbia Arts Building. The artist has exhibited in numerous galleries, art fairs and museums around the world. He is currently represented by George Billis Gallery, NYC.
