Gardens of Columbia Tour

  • Overview

The President James K. Polk Home & Museum presents 'Gardens of Columbia', a celebration of summer including a self-guided walking tour of Columbia, Tennessee’s nearby oldest and most tenderly-cultivated home gardens. Afternoon tea and wine in the Polk Home Garden from 2pm-4pm and floral design programming at 1pm are offered both days. Tickets are $25 in advance (online or at the Home) and $30 at the door.
Garden tour guests are invited to visit Crafted by Conscience: Material & Belief in Polk's America, an original exhibition of the President James K. Polk Home & Museum featuring objects on loan from fifteen museums and institutions across the country, on display through September 30. Tickets to the exhibit are a separate cost of $5 adults/$3 children, or as included in regular tour admission to the Home & Museum.
