Columbia Main Street Corporation is offering an Awning & Signage Facade Improvement Grant to downtown Columbia's brick-and-mortar businesses. This program is designed to assist current tenants with signage and awning needs to help beautify the downtown corridor. As part of this program, Columbia Main Street Corp. is recommending reliable contractors as a resource who are in the awning and signage industry.
Columbia Main Street Corp. is financially supporting the program by paying 20 percent (up to $800) for qualifying projects to qualifying grant recipients. Applicants must receive the appropriate approvals from the City of Columbia's Codes Division of the Development Services Department before moving forward with the new signage or awning.
This grant is available from July 1 - December 31, 2023 and cannot be used for existing or in-progress signage and awning projects.
